In true Christmas spirit, Social Ant recently ran a couple of Christmas Tweetups at the Calton Centre (www.caltoncentre.co.uk) in Edinburgh. This is a great venue in a good central location. The tweetups were an informal opportunity to network with other businesses over a mulled wine and mince pie.
As it’s a busy time of year with lots of parties to go to, it wasn’t an ideal time for a networking event but nonetheless, there were positive outcomes from it. Some of those who attended are particularly interested in the upcoming social media workshops and want to spend time working with Social Ant on a Digital Marketing Strategy for their business.
With the New Year approaching, it is a time for everyone to reflect on 2012 and the potential challenges they face in 2013. Likewise for businesses, it is an ideal opportunity for them to review their online presence and identify ways forward for increasing the amount of traffic to their website through social media and digital advertising activity. Social Ant can work with businesses to identify goals and objectives as part of a wider Digital Marketing Strategy. We can spend the time, researching into their industry, observing competitor activity and spotting trends that they should follow, particularly using effective social media platforms.
Social Ant will be holding a series of workshops in 2013 for individuals and businesses to find out more about a particular social media platform and the useful tools and features available with it. They can generate ideas for their own business use of the platform and create a detailed strategy to follow.
